About This Look

Yesterday I logged on, and the house that is not my house was empty again. My porphyrophile is away, and I’m missing them badly. Sometimes you don’t realize how much someone’s presence has become an anchoring part of your day until you turn and they aren’t there.

Rather than stay in the house moping, I decided to pick up some group gifts, so I stopped by Dazzling to grab the new one, a pretty platform sandal, and it’s a Free fatpack at that. I like Dazzling because most of their shoes have separate faces, so you are able to use the texture HUD to mix color combinations.

I paired that with the latest Free group gift from Guguvagas (GGVG), one of my favorite places to shop. They always have great group gifts and pretty dresses. I love the lace detail on this one. I think lace is one of those things that’s either hit or miss, and the Tania dress is an absolute hit. It’s giving me Stevie Nicks vibes.

So, the best thing for days like this, when life slows down and the house feels a little too quiet, is to take a little time for yourself. Sometimes self-care is something as simple as getting dressed and giving yourself something small to look forward to.
